:do require the block to be o-ringed (same reduction of surface area around each cylinder as what your designer explains). :I don't think the notion of exposing the deck surface to a thin sheet of coolant would amount to much since there needs to be volumetric flow to remove a measurable amount of heat. My guess is this coolant would be stagnate since there are so many other less restrictive flow paths for it to go. :Got any pictures or link to supplier? Price?
We already used it on other cars and works nicely compared to having the head and block machined for the O Rings. Also there is no need to retighten head studs again like some MLS or compressive type gaskets. The raised copper rings actually work and seal.
