I just bought this car a couple of months ago... I searched and read a ton of posts that white smoke = blown head gasket. I did a compression test today and used one of the combustible gas testers on the radiator and everything looks fine. My compression numbers were 140-150. One thing I noticed was the oil level was high on the dipstick. Could this cause the white smoke? It doesn't smell like coolant, smells just like burning and the closest thing I can compare it to is burning oil. I am waiting on a test kit so I can do an oil change and send a sample off and correct the oil level. What else can I check? TIA
