Message If you have Rust Scum built up on the Cylinder passageways, the Steel underneath the Goo can be hotter than boiling, but the coolant is circulating pulling the heat away..

When the Engine Stops, the Coolant Stops Circulating.. the localized Area ( Hot Spot ) now does not have Circulation to remove the heat and the Water Boils in that location.. Burping out the Coolant..

GOOD Engine Flush should fix it if that is the problem..
