Message Its part of the starting process.

Clutch switch is located under the dash. Move the seat all the way back and lay on your back looking up with your head by the pedals. Attached to the clutch pedal assembly you'll see a little switch that is pressed when the pedal is stationary and open when the pedal is pushed. That tells the car its OK to start because the clutch is pushed and the car won't roll forward when the starter is engaged. If that switch goes bad or is misaligned it will not signal the car that it is OK to start.
