Message do a starter jump. This will check the starter and solenoid that could have intermittent problems. Take a piece of 14 ga insulated wire and attach to the starter solenoid after you disconnect the + volt plug-in there.

Then turn on the ignition to full but just before the start twist. Then take the other end of the 14 ga wire you attached to the starter solenoid and just touch the + side of the battery post. If it starts right up, shut down and do a few times. It will start without pressing the clutch so that safety is eliminated. If OK you have a good starter and solenoid, the starter relay and clutch safety switch have been bypassed and some other systems, not sure what others need to study wire diagram.

As noted in another post check the clutch safety switch at the clutch pedal where it engages the switch under dash, there is a green plastic disk on the clutch pedal lever that cracks and breaks off and at that time the starter is disabled. It is not easy to replace not much room.

This also happens to the cruise control green button that can crack and fall off and disable the cruise control.

Also can happen to the brake pedal it also has a green plastic button that if it breaks off the brake lights will not shut off. I had this happen to the wife's Infiniti. She parked in the garage shut it off and closed the garage door. During the night the green plastic broke and the brake lights came on and the battery was dead next day.
