I really don't know what it is, but I recorded my exhaust stock, pre-Magna, and post-Magna using the same method, equipment, setting, and place, and though it's deeper now it really doesn't sound any louder than before. Maybe there was a slight leak in the stock? Maybe the stock cats are muting the Magnaflow? Everyone recommends Magnaflow mufflers on other cars to make them louder so I doubt it's the new mufflers, I really don't know what it is. And I doubt my standard for loudness is higher because I don't ordinarily like loud setups in general, and I've had two louder NAs before.
