So I installed a 2.5" Magnaflow catback, and I love everything about it, except the volume. It's almost identically muted to the stock system I had on, I couldn't believe it. Maybe just barely louder. I'm not interested in being obnoxiously ear-bleeding loud, but this is barely even audible, which takes out half the fun. As soon as I walk more than 5 feet away, it doesn't even sound like the car is on, and below 4-5k rpm it's barely audible on the highway. My question is, what would you recommend to make it the exhaust significantly/noticeably more audible/louder, but without affecting the smoothness and depth of tone, which I like, just can barely hear? Muffler delete? Resonator delete? Test pipes? High flow cats? Something else? I would like to retain the tone and avoid drone and rasp if possible, just an amplification of the current sound.
