Subject	Camshaft front main cap liquid gasket placement. Help please

Message	So I'm installing my camshafts after rebuilding the lifters and the manual says (shows vaguely)to put liquid gasket on the mating surface of the main cap. it appears that there are these square cut channels that look like oil channels. If you put the gasket as it shows it should cover and seal those channels. Is that correct? Don't want to blow out my cam seals.
