I have a 1990 300ZX TT Auto that has a bad engine. I've come across a JDM engine that's a 1995+ model. The engine does come with a complete harness, ECU and auto transmission, but the current transmission and ECU are in good working order and the current harness is less then 3 years old so I would like to keep it over the one coming with the replacement engine.
My question is: What would be required to remove the original engine and install this new model engine? Not needing details on how to physically r/r the engine. Just need information on what would be needed to be changed in order for the newer engine to function with the existing ECU and harness. I know the injector connectors are different, but is there any other electrical issues that will need to be addressed?
