I understand the concept of measuring pounds per inch; but how is that related to pounds square foot, lbsf? Is this a derivative?

BTW, thanks for this. It helps me understand this topic. VTF.

However, what I don't understand is that because many coilover users complain about a harsh ride, one would think manufacturers would offer a hybrid between coilovers and OEM setups. Something to keep the longer shock stroke and spring travel in order to offer a more streetable ride. Maybe that's what the "Ground Control" design is going after ?
