I would like to ceramic coat the exhaust manifolds and turbine housings; when I remove the motor to correct several oil leaks and clean up the engine bay. Just wondering how likely it is that a stud breaks during this process. There is always risk when touching exhaust fasteners that are heat treated every time the engine runs. I is not fun to extract a broken stud or bolt. Having the motor out may allow the repair w/o removing the head(s).
