Message	It took a lot of effort to pull it off the hatch, and as I may have mentioned, the 27-year-old tape took off some clearcoat here and there. The proper tape is rated for this use, and based on how much force was needed to yank it off, I have no doubt that it's strong enough. A long run of foam tape also spreads the load across the width of the hatch. That being said, whatever mechanical fasteners I can use, I will, if only to make sure the spoiler is located and seated properly.
