the CSC in my 92 TT. Bought a non OEM unit that's sold as an exact replacement for the one in my car. (NAPA NCF 73282) The new CSC has a piston rod about 5mm longer than the original. Should I use the longer rod on the new CSC or use the shorter rod in its place?
