A few months ago I was having hot start issues, and it ended up being a problem with the coolant temp sensor, and the ECU was showing a Code 13. I replaced the sensor, and also the connector which was the culprit - it fell off due to corrosion while putting it on the sensor. I thought it was fixed as the electronic fan was no longer running at all times, and the hot starting problem went away. However, today I checked codes again due to poor gas mileage and I am still getting a code 13. The wires going to the CTS - does it matter which wire goes to which terminal? I am thinking I may have hooked them up wrong. If that doesn't matter then I can try to throw the old sensor back on - it tested OK.
