Message	The shaft has been in the car for 15 years. It's always droned. I just hate it as I get older. I found a shop in San Antonio that can make a 2-piece. I'll eventually end up going back to OEM style. The ones they advertise on the web for my car(auto TT) do not fit. The support bearing is located 4" to far towards the front. The guy in San Antonio swears I'm not measuring correctly, because he's never seen one to my measurements. Not chancing a $700 mistake. I'll take the car to them.
