Subject	cruise control indicator light

Message	I just installed cruise control in a 2003 350z base model, works perfectly except there is no indicator light in my cluster. I knew this going in. I didn't do the work. I bought a used steering column so didn't have to deal with the harness, it came with all the connectors all that was needed to add was the clutch switch. I would like to add the light at the top of the back housing of the steering wheel. perfect spot. I even found the perfect light with pigtails, 12v, 55 lumens. A mechanic said he doesn't think it can be done because the 3 switches work off of one connector so I can't just splice it in. Anyone have an idea as to whether this is correct? Or any other suggestions thanks
