Message For standard tunes fuel pressure should be set at 3 bar (43.5 psi) above intake manifold pressure. With the vacuum line on the FPR plugged into the manifold, idle vacuum should reduce this pressure.

I'm not a fan of bypassing the fuel pump controller. However, some have done it successfully with the stock fuel pump. The Walbro 485 flows even more than the stock fuel pump, so I'm even less of a fan of this setup. You likely need a larger FPR to bypass a lot more fuel, and then you will be pumping around a lot of fuel, heating it up, but it can be made to work.
