If your ECU Coolant Temp Sensor is not working, it will assume a Cold Start every time it Starts.. The Coolant Sensor for the ECU is the Two Wire Sensor in the T-Stat Housing.. Check it for Corrosion and tight.. To Verify if it's the ECU Temp Sensor.. get Software ( ECU Talk or Consult ) and read the Coolant Temp as displayed by the Engine while Warm and running.. If you Turn the Engine off, Then Restart it, look at the Coolant Temp Displayed.. if the Sensor or Wires are bad, the ECU will Display a Cold Fluid Temp .. then it will start to rise Slowly.. That is the ECU Pretending to have an actual Sensor Sig to work with.. If the Sensor and wires are good, the Temp Displayed will start from the actual coolant temp.. Cj
