The solenoid I got was from whatever it takes transmission, it had a plug & what looked to me like a ground wire. The solenoid out of the car didn't have the ground. The guy at whatever it takes assured me it was the correct part so I installed it & hooked the ground up. Could that be the problem that it might be the wrong part? Physically it looke the same & had the same plug, just had the extra ground wire. I'm not super excited to pull it again if it's not my problem. Could it be as simple as a faulty tps sensor? I have a new one I can install. The diagnostic code was lock up solenoid fault however. I do have a 5sp tt tranny, clutch, & flywheel if it craps out but that's even more work.
