I've been chasing a gremlin in my auto transmission recently so I ordered a jdm tt tcu to replace the na tcu I've been running (car has a jdm tt engine/tranny). Anyway I installed it today & noticed under heavy acceleration the at dash light lights up. Under light throttle it doesn't. I was reading that jdm auto cars have a hold/power switch & that in normal auto mode upon heavy acceleration the car will go into power mode & the power light will light up on the dash while it does. I'm wondering if my jdm tranny & now tcu are illuminating my at light like it would the power light on a jdm car? I have no idea, I just know it never did it before with the usdm na tcu. Probably a long shot but figured maybe someone here knows.
