I apologize in advance if I've overlooked the answer, but I've been searching and can't find anything newer than a few years on this subject. Currently, I have the SPC adjustable T-rods, which while great for adjustability, the rubber is tearing after less than 2 years (yes, they were installed correctly). I would like to use the same rods but replace the bushing with ES poly ones. ES supposedly redesigned the T-rod bushings to address some issues involving breakage of the T-rod or lower control arms. My question is, are these recommended replacements now and if so, what was the design change that fixed the issue?
