My 1992 TT was hydrolocked my the first owner in 1997. Nissan dealer fixed the car and it looks like for one reason or another I have old style 40P heads mated to what looks like a new style lower plenum. Now, everything sits fine and I had absolutely no boost leaks using old style gaskets.
My main question is if it ok to mate older heads and newer lower plenum? Since port shapes are a bit different, would there be any issues that cannot be fixed with port matching? Would there be any negative effect on injector spray pattern?
