How long have you had the car? You wouldn't believe some of the crazy electrical stuff the PO did to my car. The best 2 were probably wiring the parking brake (completes circuit to ground when engaged) to the interior lighting circuit, blowing a fuse every time the e-brake was pulled, and then they completely rewired the horn to complete a positive connection instead of ground when depressed. Anyways. The 2 places I would start looking is for hacked up wiring behind the light controls, and under the dash. I would be wary of the fuse box, and don't forget there is a light control module right there in the kick panel of the LH (drivers) side. The electrical section of the FSM is going to become your friend. I recommend printing out pages and using different highlighters to track down circuits.
