Message How bad? Subjective, but bad enough that an injector stopped working.

Was previously blowing more smoke than this, with a heavy bias towards one bank of the engine. This seems equally distributed, sometimes the pass side looks a little worse, after a short drive last night the drivers side looked at little worse. I don't recall which was worse ten years ago.

Are you referring to the markings in the black of the Cylinder head? Those are some marks on the carbon, you will see one extends into a valve. I looked carefully but did not see any fracture with my bare eye. I would hope pressure testing it would catch those.

Is there a seal in the turbo that water can leak past? Or is the cooling passage only in the cast portion and thus should not leak through the housing. I know there are oil seals for the bearings, but I am wondering if there is a water seal that I could eliminate as the source.
