Message Hey guys. It's been a while since I've posted because, for the most part, I can figure this stuff out.

I have a 1991 300zx TT with the battery relocated to the back, and have replaced my one year old optima and had my factory original alternator professionally rebuilt and dipped/tested. This problem came up somewhere around the time I installed a UD pully on the crank, but after asking here and elsewhere, have been told that that is not the cause of my troubles.

The damn thing doesn't charge. When running at 1500 rpm I get 12.3 or so across the terminals. I have also gone through the entire car and replaced all crimp connectors with soldered and heat shrink tube ones. When checking my original voltage drain I was draining roughly .6 amp, but after all the soldering I am down to .1 amps when the car is off. I do have a viper alarm and attribute my loss to that.

My relocation cables are 00 and I use the ground to distribute ground through the car on the way up to the front engine main ground. As you are reading this I will be in the garage returning the battery to the front for testing, but have had this relocation in place for years before this problem happened, so I'm not too hopeful.

Any help or advice is welcome. I'm about to break down and take this to a Z specialist around town.

-Krypt
