| thank you sir... appreciate the help. the cigar lighter does work. im suprised, it has never been used. the clock does not. however it seemed to be getting dim in the past and not sure if it just failed or not. do you recall if there is supposed to be a 3 amp fuse in the back of the radio unit? there is a slot, however a standard 3 amp fuse is too small. simply falls out of the slot. so far all fuses, those on the driver side under the hood and those on the drivers side in the car seem fine. i get 12v on the blue wire when i turn on the ignition. i do not have 12v on the black/red wire which should be hot all the time however. thanks again for your help. best wishes.
