Message	ground cable where it fastens to the firewall behind the battery post. The cable is known to frey at that location since it bends. Not enough current flow is would be an issue for the starter. Any corrosion present on the battery terminals? Never a bad idea if not done in a while to remove the battery post wire clamps and clean both them and the battery posts.
