||I had installed it before and the same thing happened, but I rotated the engine anyway and it changed from 0-1.5 maybe 2mm gap while rotating.
Took it off, reset, and currently have the OP issue.
Unable to try using the old ~10k mile OEM tensioner.
The hydraulic thing collapsed after taking it off for some reason.
