I'm halfway through my first 120k service on a tt and got some questions. 1) I removed the top idler pulley stud successfully using the double nut method but with the lower one I stripped out the threads. Anyone know of any other method of getting it off or any tool that could grab it hard enough? 2) After I got the crank pulley off I noticed the crank sprocket was completely loose. Could I have pulled it off when I was pulling the pulley off? 3) For the driver side timing belt cover, the spacer stud came off with the cover and I went to put it back in the block so I didn't loose it and I broke the thread off in the block. Is it real important that I get that out and replace the spacer or is it something I can leave off?
