Subject	Need help getting out of safety mode

Message	Recently my 90 tt has been running poorly at low rpm until about 3000 rpm and would take off like a rocket. I thought that it was a running lean issue at first so I replaced the plugs and checked the coils with no luck. Also tried playing around with the apexi safc2 also with no luck, I eventually rest the apexi safc2 to factory settings and car went in safety/limp mode will not go over 2500 rpm and isn't driveable. I have checked the codes and came up with code 55
