Message	In a perfect world, you put Grade 2 rings on a grade 2 piston and stick them in a grade 2 bore. I've got the grade 2 pistons and the grade 2 bores, but NOBODY has any grade 2 rings, only standards. Now what? Can't afford new pistons, so forget that. Rings float in grooves so 4 ten thousands difference between 1's and 2's doesn't seem too much ID wise. More gas behind ring pushing it harder against the cylinder wall. 4 ten thousands bigger bore (grade 1 vs grade 2) might push the end gap on the OD. Oil ring problems??? Basically, can I run a STANDARD (grade 1) OEM ring set with #2 bores and #2 pistons? Stop screaming, it's just a question. Oversize rings would need oversize pistons and oversize bores, again, too much $. All positive suggestions greatly appreciated.
