Message	The extra drag on the pads idea is certainly consistent with the extra heat and the wear. I'm getting the rotors turned today and will bolt them up and put a dial indicator on them (sorry I didn't do this before). Parking brake should not be related to pad wear as they are separate (shoes inside the hat). I usually get 19mpg (city and highway).
