Its apparent that the body guy was not as meticulous as most of us would like or expect. Not really that uncommon just to get it "good enough" and leave it at that.
Where on the body was the original damage? Photos of the damage are going to be more telling than the ones you posted. What parts were replaced? There may be subtle frame damage or other body panels that should have been re-aligned before welding the rest in. The panels also may have been welded in improperly. Also, were these components perfectly aligned prior to "your" collision or is it possible they was some prior underlying damage that was only "90 percent" repaired?
