Message	Those jack stands are like the layers of boards used in karate tricks....1/4 of the weight of the car is being supported by just a 1.5" thick board. Break the first board, and all the others will come cracking down. Without a center support in each layer, all the way down to the floor, you've just just elevated a 1.5" board....900 lbs on a 2x4 = scary !
