Message	harness to go from the old style connector to new. A number of folks have had issues with that harness due to corrosion. This would be a good thing to check, pull the connectors apart for a visual look-see. Try wiggling the adapter harness while the car is running and see if anything changes? Just be careful since the harness is close to the fan.
