Subject	Remove roller pins of tranny striker linkage, or not?

Message	I'm trying to replace the striker linkage but can't seem to get the shafts to release. I punched out the dowel pins but see the two roller pins remain. Can someone confirm that I have to remove these roller pins (C-shaped) because they go all the way through the shaft? If so, what's the best way to do this? Thanks.
