Message With the upper control arm at 45 degrees from the lower, shimming is .707 (sin of 45) effective in the direction desired. The remaining .293 is forward. Moving the perch of the upper control arm out will also alter the caster. Adjustable tension rods will be needed to make adjustments, resulting in the wheel being more forward when correct in camber. This may (or dare I say WILL) result in rubbing when using wider tires. Not to mention stress on the lower control arm bushings.

The Z32 has a variable caster (and camber) swing on the suspension motion. Crazy idea! No camber plates possible on the shock towers. Plus "king pins" and bearings. Mr. Katayama was heavy on Sake when he came up with this design. Shimming the sagging springs (which are no longer available) may be a better way to correct camber, as will not alter the suspension geometry.

I have not checked, but if any aftermarket springs exist, that they will certainly have stiffer spring rates than OEM.
