Pretty sure I found the answer based on re-reading past doc. The purple wire is present on most NA/TT body chassis harnesses. The BLUE harness that plugs into the fuse box on the driver's feet is where the purple wire may NOT be present. This eventually wires to #35 on your ECU. So if you just take your #35 from ECU and wire directly to the FPCU this will resolve the problem The wire is purple that needs to be wired on the FPCU. This doc was helpful, I just had to re-read it all day to understand and learn about the differences in the chassis, guess I am slow.
