Either timing belt was installed incorrectly, or it slipped. On mine, it was off 1 tooth at the crank, which caused weird low (but not 0) compression numbers, and would run okay until about half throttle, then just bog. Best case in that situation is you'll need to redo timing belt, worst case is the timing belt slip let your valves slam into your pistons, and you'll at least be getting your heads rebuilt.
