Message	I had some similar wonky issues with mine when I had somehow swapped up the 2 ports on my boost controller's solenoid. Besides not getting boost, is your engine doing anything else weird when under load? Missing or stuttering? Those would be reasons I would check things like timing belt and spark plugs, which I had issues with. I'd then start checking things like PTU, coilpacks, etc.
