Message	in order for the fuel pump and fuel pump controller to work correctly the fuel pump controller must be bolted in place to the car body. The controller gets it's ground from the car body. The ground wire coming from the controller doesn't become a ground until the fuel pump controller housing makes ground to the car body by being mounted the way it's supposed to be.
