Hello! I'm in need of y'all experts! I honestly don't know what else to check! I have a 1991 TT. And for the past couple weeks I've been having problems of my car shutting off while driving. Through driving it , I notice it's only on warm temps. My car will honestly run perfect then it'll just die out out of no where and if I try to crank up again it's just crank and crank and crank and crank. I ha e to wait till it cools down in order to start it back up. And when it does it runs perfect until it's "heats" up again. With that being said I went in and replaced the ptu with a known working one from my buddies. And still same problem. I noticed my fuel pump would be whining on idle and while driving so I changed that. Still the same. Thought it could be my CAS; used my buddies once again and still same problem. And I'm assuming it's something ptu just because my ecu is showing code 21 - ignition signal circuit. Im literally slumped on what it could be! ??
