I just recently came across this weird electrical issue. Every so often either while driving or with the car just sitting in the parking lot it seems like I lose battery power. When driving the lights will dim slightly for a sec and my radio will reset. One instance as soon as I parked and turned the key off the car just died and had no battery power what so ever. As I started walking away it came back on by itself. When I looked under the hood I noticed that my negative battery terminal was very corroded and figured that was the problem. I cleaned it off but a few weeks later it happened again, this time there is no corrosion what so ever. I checked the alternator for output and I'm getting 14.7 V, could the battery be dying? Any help is greatly appreciated.
