But it takes some good tooling to do it properly. Not necessarily on the destructive damage, depending on the level of severity and what bearing was spun. Although I would assume at minimum you would need to have the journal polished. As far as repairing the broken check ball, I'm not even sure if that's possible? If it were a really rare motor I'm sure you could drill/tap that hole and thread a replacement check valve in it, but for an NA VG I would just recommend finding a new motor
