Is it normal for the accelerator to have a bit of a "dead-zone" where it doesn't actually engage the cable for the first 1-2cm that you press down on it? My gas pedal feels very wobbly for the first 1-2 cm (like there's no pressure behind it), you can press down even very lightly with your fingers and it will move the first 1-2 cm without any resistance whatsoever, and then when it passes this point it engages normally and feels exactly like a throttle should. Is there any way to fix this? I looked underneath where the pedal is and saw that the pedal is held upright by some sort of coil, which I assume is connected to the cable inside. Looks like the coil/spring doesn't hold the throttle all the way out, only about 1-2cm from where the throttle wants to naturally rest. Would tightening the throttle cable fix this issue or not?
