about that issue, never experienced it myself. But if memory serves the speed sensor sends a signal to the speedo, and the speedo sends a signal to the ECU. In addition to a few other things, the signal to the ECU controls the power steering feedback. The issue may more likely lie in your gauge cluster as opposed to the sensor itself.
