| Hi guys ! Happy new year everyone ! So I just got screwed by my mechanic (again), now he left town and didn't finish my car. Engine is built and everything, we were about to install the aem v1 standalone unit and he moved out of state. He installed the trigger disc before he left, and now the car won't start. It'll just keep trying to turn over but won't actually start. Before it would, with a rough idle because he said it needs to be tuned. Now won't start. I was told, it needs the trigger disc (installed), needs an AEM Air Intake Temp sensor (I have but not installed), and an AEM MAP sensor (not installed). Is this correct ? Anyone have any experience with this system ? I also have an AEM boost solenoid which I was told is to raise or lower boost levels and I'd need a boat controller separate of the AEM standalone. I can change my oil and change a tire and that's about it. So I doubt I can figure out how to install this stuff. Anyone know of a tuner or Z mechanic that may know how to do this in the Miami, FL area ? Or is this something general that any general mechanic can do ?
