i have a 1990 z32 NA, and for the past 2 months it has been making a very annoying rattling noise, at first i thought that the rattling was coming from the inside of the car, by the windshield defrost vent, since you can only hear the rattling from the inside/driver side. So i took a part the center cover above the tachs, inspected everything under the steering wheel. no problem found, this is a very strange rattling. Since it sounds like is coming from the inside, and it only happens when the car is on idle. the AC/heater on or off does not affect it. So i went to check the outside and placed the my ear right below the driver wiper blade, above the windshield vent but from the outside of the car, and i was able to hear the rattling, in fact i was able to determine that this is actually happen in the outside of the cabin. The defrost inside vent screw has been inspected and its tight. I will post a video of this later. But has anyone experienced this and know how to remedy it?
