Thanks, I've been out of town for the last few days but as soon as I'm home I'll look for the sticker. Previous owner had the car from 70-80k miles, the guy before him from 60-70k, and the first guy drove it to 60k. Previous owner said he didn't know anything about a 60k service being done as it would have been years and years ago. Carfax doesn't say anything either about a service or some kind of check-up or maintenance being done at 60,000. I'll order the timing kit then and when I have a few days off start to work on it. Even if it's not an easy job one of the reasons I bought the Z32 was to learn how to work on cars and I'm certainly not going to do so by running to a mechanic every time something goes wrong, this might be as good a place to start as any. Is it still safe to be driving it around while I wait for the parts to come in and for a good few days off to start working on it? It might not be the safest bet seeing as the belt might be old and might not have been serviced, but I can't really drive any other cars at the moment and from what you see on craiglist plenty of people seem to drive their Z32s past the 100k mileage without ever servicing the belt.
