The 96 FSM is confusing when it comes to the two connectors on the TPS. In one section it refers to the top connector (grey) as the TPS harness...while on the overview for the TPS the top connector is the TPS switch. It'll say to disconnect the TPS harness while showing a disconnected TPS switch! The top connector is def. the switch as it only has two wires, but I am confused if the FSM means to disconnect the switch or the senor when checking/adjusting ignition timing.
